Christmas Has Come And Gone.

I guess these pictures need some explaining. The one of the power lines and such are the view from the g-parents porch on the mountain. Old fashioned one which I think is pretty neat is my grandad playing the mandolin a few years ago... ;) and the one of him playing the fiddle is him jammin with his buds.
NOW BEGINS THE POST.

Welp. It has been a while since I last clicked "New Post" on the ole blogspot. My apologies to my 4 followers. You all are too kind.
This Christmas was oh so good. I'm going to go ahead and tell you. I got a George Foreman Quesadilla maker people!!! It is something special. So from that to the many gift cards I received it was a Christmas to be thankful for.
Lemme give you a little break down of what went down from Christmas until now.
Christmas day we drove to Seiverville, Tennessee up in the Smoky Mountains to visit my moms parents. But before we got to the house we stopped at the good ole Proffitt family reunion (my moms maiden name). And for entertainment per-say my grandad played a little bluegrass. It was awesome. The fiddle, banjo, and guitar were completely shredded. So then we made over the river and through the woods... to grandmothers house we go! Opened presents there the next day then ventured to Jefferson City, Tennessee to stay with my dad's parents for a couple days. We also opened presents and really just kicked back and relaxed.
On the way home, we stopped and ate at Sticky Fingers... Ribs galore. Simply incredible.
Tonight we had ourselves a little dinner party over at Jana and Buck's. Jana made a heck of a meal. ;) And of course Buck and I had to jam out to some old school rap, Run DMC and such.

Wow. How could I forget. Tennessee plays a little football game tomorrow against Virginia Tech in the Chick fil a bowl. Pops and I will most definitely be there for the WIN. We hope. Love those Christmas surprises pops. You da man.

I honestly cannot describe to you how excited I am for the next week or so. Saturday through Tuesday is Passion which will be out of this world. I mean Hillsong United will be there. Come on. And then I'm... Eh I'll write about that a little later.

I'll leave you with some words from DMC

This speech is my recital, I think it's very vital
To rock a rhyme, that's right on time
It's Tricky is the title, here we go...

Matt
